Reichert's Signs makes the signs that real estate agents post outside homes for sale and in front of their offices, etc. But their order and approval process was tedious and time consuming, requiring a dedicated full-time employee.

 

 

 
topLingo built a custom web application that automates the entire process. Now RSI's customers choose the basic sign design, customize it with their own information, approve the final product, and pay for it - all online!

 

  

The web application is technically advanced but super simple to use, incorporating:

 

  •  Sign specs for each customer organization.
  •  Live proofing function.
  • E-commerce shopping cart for live credit card transactions

In case you're interested in how we did it, this online self service web application involved database integration, COM objects, Active Server Pages, Javascript, Flash, clean graphic design, and hosting.

 

Best of all, the application is completely expandable, so RSI can easily add new products and sign vendors as they grow.

 

And the employee who used to take care of processing orders? She's ecstatic that she can contribute to core business activities ... instead of spending her days glued to the fax machine!
